IP rights To make use of different technologies and recognize intellectual property rights, Brilliant has license agreements with licensors of well-known dictionary publishers, patent owners and technology developers to allow it to use resourceful databases and advanced technologies for its product range. Each year, Brilliant invests minimum 5% of its annual turnover in R&D and launches innovative and high quality products. Manufacturing In 1991, Brilliant opened its first manufacturing facilities in Hong Kong with an area of 7,000 square feet. To facilitate business expansion, in 1999, the manufacturing facilities were moved to GongMing Town, BaoAn District, ShenZhen, Guangdong province in southern China. Today, it has an area of 70,000 square feet and approximately 300 employees, including around 20 R&D professionals. On top of that, there are a number of satellite associates working together as a conglomerate to serve its invaluable customers.
